Distinguished Professor Pramod K. Varshney in the College of Engineering and Computer Science has been awarded the Yaakov Bar-Shalom Award for Lifetime Excellence in Information Fusion by the International Society of Information Fusion. He received the honor at the University of Cambridge in July at the 21st International Conference on Information Fusion.

CASE industry partners fared well in the most recent GeniusNY competition. Quantifly won second place, landing an investment of $600K. TruWeather was awarded third prize of $400K. Precision Vision and UsPLM were both among the runners' up, receiving $250K investments. We look forward to watching all of these innovative companies grow!

Professor Kevin Du received the "2017 Academic Leadership" award from The 21st Colloquium for Information System Security Education, a leading conference that brings government, academia, and industry together. This award honors Kevin’s widely used SEED labs for Computer/Cybersecurity Education. Hundreds of educational institutions use his SEED labs materials.
